Hint 1. Where to look
Large safe on the mansion's upper floor. Read the gold segments, not a nearby note.
Hint 2. What to understand
The target is a shape: four gold sections in the middle, with the left, right, and bottom slots touching that middle. A turn list only helps if the discs are still in their starting positions.
Hint 3. Reported solution
From the untouched start, the published turns are Left, Top, Top, Top, Top. If you already moved a disc, ignore that list and line the gold up with the target shape. The SMG is inside.
